Hiya, I am Chandni
I came across this quote which happens to define me the most
In times of profound change, the learners inherit the earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists. – Eric Hoffer

I believe that a day one fails to learn is a day in vain. The written word is what inspires me the most. A well told story, an intelligent conversation, an insightful article, a good book bring great joy to me. Vocabulary, witticisms, puns, wordplay bring me a smile.

Usually I start my day reading and majority is my time is spent either reading or writing, which is basically bliss. To take this a step further I decided to start blogging my recipes.

I am addicted to travelling and I wish to travel to destinations more than I do.  I love to travel by myself because that gives me a chance to meet the locals, and help me understand their cultures and especially their local delicacies.  I learned the importance of regionality, something which I have continued to develop living here in the West Country.

So beautifully put into words by Barbara Costikyan, In the childhood memories of every cook, there is a large kitchen, a warm stove, a simmering pot and a mom. I believe my love for cooking started as a very young girl, sitting on the kitchen surface, watching my mom cook dinner. I grew up in a large family, and my love of cooking came from the big family meals we always shared, prepared by my mom, who was a wonderful cook. Today when I look back, if i have to put into words the journey of my life I would say,
Cooking is at once child's play and adult joy. And cooking done with care is an act of love.
~ Craig Claiborne

The blog is an assortment of the vegetarian recipes, some Indian, and some international, some healthy and some not so healthy, but without doubt delicious. I hope you enjoying reading and cooking my recipes as much I did while creating this blog. Just before ending, cant stop myself from saying  A good cook is like a sorceress who dispenses happiness.’
~ Elsa Schiaparelli
Buen Apetito!!!!!
